Disabuse Biography and Discography

Disabuse established October of 1994, We Can't Remember the exact Date, But the month and the year, exactly that we never forget. We started to formed a band as a typical "punk band" just like an oldskool sounds in that era of mid-90s. First we put the name for our band the name "SPERMDOG". You know why? Simple because in that time our local underground scene is under in the influenced of "DAWG" sounds of band moniker like "ASKALS" & "Aggressive Dog Attack" plus a US rap core band "DOG EAT DOG". And gore discover the band from Germoney playing a total noise sick kind of sound "Spermbirds". So far from Askals, A.D.A. to Spermbird we call ourselves SPERMDOG. In that time of SPERMDOG era, we are playing a straight forward hardcore music. (STRAIGHT FORWARD okey! not Street forward hehehe) Our Sounds much more into Noisy hardcore kind of sounds like the other US underground Hardcore bands such as Minor Threat, Verbal Abuse, etc. Then we discover the bands like Discharge, Varukers, Disorder, SHitlickers and Doom. Those Bands from Europe that making us more interested to make a decision to choose our own way for creating a sounds that we want to enjoy. So we started to cover first a song from Discharge in that time. And suddenly, we discover again the Monstrous punk scene of Japan and we're curious on their music as in sick, for the sick society. And we love their style The "JAPCORE" style. WE love G.I.S.M. CFDL, S.O.B., Battle of Disarm and Disclose. These are the old school JAPCORE bands that totally makes your ears bleed. Then suddenly i consult my bandmates to choose a name of our band that fit for our new sounds that we created from the last 2 years since 1994. 1996, for the past 2 years, we changed our name from SPERMDOG to DISABUSE. Because we started to create in that time our own compositions. We decided to choose the name "DISABUSE" because of our songs. Some of our songs tackled about the political, or socio-political issues. And we recorded on year of 1996 and then released the demo in 1997, "War & Revolution" demo D.I.Y. Tapes. Disabuse recently celebrated our 20th years of existence in the underground scene. And we will continue to spread noise..
